LP Consulting conducts agronomy research trials for fertilizer companies, industry partners and agriculture groups. Through our research we improve profitability and yield, and identify new opportunities for new waste-to-resource programs.
We analyze data from on-farm research trials across the Maritimes to create best practices and recommendations for farmers, sharing with conferences and among our community with the permission of our clients. Our successful research programs have resulted in long-standing soil amendment programs, a construction and demolition livestock bedding program, and land reclamation programs.
Crop Production Research
We conduct more than 100 on-farm research trials annually throughout the Maritimes on field crops, blueberries, fruits and vegetables and grapes. Trials include fertility product comparisons, pesticides, seeding rates and crop varieties.
Waste-to-Resource Research
We’ve conducted trials for a provincial compost market; to use N-Rich on mine reclamation; to compare soil amendments to the commercial fertilizer; and to discover the agronomic value of waste products to build an agriculture market.
