Lise LeBlanc,
President, CEO & Founder

Since founding LP Consulting in 1997, Lise has redefined how industry and agriculture view and manage waste. She has advised municipalities, utilities and private sector partners on waste reuse strategies, regulatory compliance, and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals. A recognized leader in soil health, Lise established crop management standards that have improved yields and resilience across Atlantic Canada. Her contributions to agriculture and environmental stewardship have been recognized with the Nova Scotia Distinguished Agrologist Award and induction to the Mobius Award of Excellence Hall of Fame.

Courtney Blois,
Research Lead, CCA

Courtney leads the on-farm agronomy trials and serves as a nutrient management planner having obtained her Certified Crop Advisor designation. She designs research trials and protocols and coordinates field work and farmers engagement, ensuring the research trials meet the highest standards. Raised on a dairy and blueberry farm, Courtney brings practical experience that complements her growing expertise. In recognition she was awarded the Distinguished Agrologist Award by the NS Institute of Agrologist.

Misty Croney,
Partner & Vice President

Misty oversees all projects from design to implementation. She is the driving force behind FieldCarbon, LP’s carbon standard and has developed practical strategies that help partners achieve their sustainability goals. Misty leverages her expertise in data analysis to transform research, waste-to-resource initiatives, and crop management plans into practical strategies that deliver measurable benefits for farmers, industry, and the environment. Her ability to turn insight into action has created innovative programs for clients. In recognition of her contributions, Misty was awarded the Distinguished Agrologist Award by the NS Institute of Agrologists in 2021.

Hannah Stokdijk,
Research & Special Projects Coordinator

Hannah joined the LP team as a summer student for two summers and returned to become a full time team member after graduating from MacDonald campus of McGill with Bioresource Engineering. She contributes to waste to resource initiatives, CFIA regulation, supports the development of LP’s carbon program and assists with field research. Hannah is currently working towards her P.Eng and P.Ag designations. Originally from Musquodoboit Valley, she brings a decade of experience in the beef industry.

Ron Coles,
Senior Project Specialist

Ron explores new opportunities in waste to resource, renewable energy and research. He has experience as VP and manager of a research company focusing on renewable energy from agriculture crops and has played a key role in developing our carbon standard, FieldCarbon. He brings extensive management expertise from the dairy sector and from consulting in alternative fuel, specialty crop production and processing and field research. He excels at bridging the gap between the field and the boardroom, seeing opportunities that can generate mutual benefit. Ron works from our Prince Edward Island location.

MacKenzie Wheaton,
Programs Coordinator

MacKenzie joined the LP team after two summers as a student, returning as a full time team member following her graduation from Acadia University. She coordinates amendment programs and is often the first point of contact for clients. While at Acadia, she completed an honours thesis on stress biomarkers in sea birds. Orignially from Lunenburg, she grew up on a small farm and continues to bring that passion and practical perspective to her work.

In 2019, LP Consulting received the Mobius Award of Excellence, Innovation in Waste Reduction for their work in developing an animal bedding re-using waste wallboard and woodfiber.
